Subspecialized Surgery Centers Better?

Subspecialized Surgery Centers Better?

Hospital operating rooms are very busy places. Data gathered from nationwide research indicate that 29% of hospital use is for OR procedures. A broad menu of surgeries, including , but not limited to, ophthalmic, genitourinary, cardiac, and gynecological occur there. When choosing a surgical venue patients and their doctors observe that surgery centers may be better equipped to focus on a single specialty. In a specialty surgery center variables like staff training and OR procedures are less likely to be factors. Risks can be reduced when staff as well as doctors are focused on one specialty, rather than several.  Surgical equipment can be streamlined. Improved patient care can lead to positive outcome more often.

Our orthopedic surgery center is specialized to excel in orthopedics and sports medicine
